The success of your business often comes down to who you have working for you – so hiring is an important thing to get right. Get it wrong and you’re in the awkward position of having to balance the employment relationship with maintaining your reputation, and meanwhile the employee could be costing you money in mistakes or lost customers.

To help you get the right people first time, we’ve developed two recruitment support packages for you.

If you’ve got a vacancy to fill, and it’s likely that after one or two online ads you’ll find the right person, this is the package for you.

An HR Consultant will:

  • Develop a preferred candidate profile
  • Draft the job advert and coordinate the listing of the advert on agreed platforms, including the local newspaper
  • One stand-out Seek or Trade Me advert
  • One-off online candidate database search to promote the vacancy
  • Undertake shortlisting and screening of candidates by phone
  • At least one candidate review meeting to ensure potential candidates are appropriate and selection criteria is being applied correctly
  • Provide a candidate profile on shortlisted candidates for interview
  • Prepare interview questions and be part of the interview panel with manager(s) for up to 4 candidates
  • Undertake telephone reference checking of the preferred candidate

Our One-Off Vacancy Recruitment Services are offered by way of agreed hourly rate or set ‘project’ fee. 

The typical recruitment process can take around five or six weeks, from advertising through to offer. We’re open to negotiating payment plans to spread your investment over two months, or to tailor the package to suit your needs and budget.


Ongoing Recruitment Campaigns

Every employer has experienced the difficulty of finding good people – and it can be a real challenge for some industries and professions, especially when there’s already a shortage of talent.

On the other hand, some roles need constant recruitment, whether that’s to keep up with demand or account for a high staff turnover.

In this package, our time and effort goes into sourcing and screening candidates, ready for you to do the interviews and reference checking.

But because we know that the process of finding candidates doesn’t always happen in a predictable timeframe, this package works similar to our monthly retainers – unused hours get rolled over to the following month and expire after six months. Any extra time that’s used gets charged at our ad-hoc recruitment flat hourly rate.

It means that you get financial certainty as well as being able to give your candidates the right impression, as you won’t have to fit in the work of screening them. For us, it means that we can invest our time wisely into headhunting and screening.

The Recruitment Campaign package runs for a minimum of three months and includes:

  • Developing a preferred candidate profile
  • At least two online job board adverts (i.e. Seek, Trade Me or LinkedIn) per month
  • Preparing a job advertising campaign based on the candidate and business profile
  • Drafting job adverts and coordinating the listing of the advert on agreed platforms, including the local newspaper and social media
  • Monthly online candidate database searches to promote the vacancy to passive job seekers
  • Undertake shortlisting and screening of candidates by phone or Skype
  • Fortnightly progress updates and monthly candidate review meetings to ensure potential candidates are appropriate and selection criteria is being applied correctly
  • Provide a candidate profile on shortlisted candidates for interview

The Campaign Project fees are dependent on your needs.

Campaign Package add-ons not usually included but are available for an additional fee:

  • Preparation of interview questions based on the preferred candidate profile
  • Participate in face to face structured interviews
  • Reference checking
  • Psychometric and/or ability testing
